On Thursday 8/13/15, Cassandra D Saylor, 26, of Lake City was arrested and charged with Petit Theft.
During the investigation of a shoplifting incident, Saylor, was identified as removing the tags off of several jewelry items on her person. She further selected several items from the store in which she paid for without attempting to pay for the jewelry items and left the store. Deputies made contact with Saylor who freely admitted to taking the items.
Saylor was arrested and transported to the Suwannee County Jail on the stated charges.
On Thursday, 8/13/15, Robin Louise Krause, 45, of Live Oak was arrested for DUI.
While on routine patrol D/S Descarreaux observed a vehicle accelerating rapidly and spinning tire when the traffic signal turned green. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver identified as Krause. It was observed she had the strong smell of alcohol coming from her person. A consented search of the vehicle yielded several 25oz empty beer cans. The defendant consented to performing field sobriety tests which she was unable to successfully complete. She refused a breath test.
Krause was arrested and transported to the Suwannee County Jail on the stated charges.
On Saturday, 8/15/15, Amber J Davies, 28, of Jacksonville was arrested and charged with DWLSR with knowledge.
D/S Thakor received a report of a reckless driver. While on patrol in the area for the suspect vehicle he observed a vehicle matching the description. He made contact with the driver who was identified as Davies. She freely admitted her license was suspended. This information was confirmed with a DHSMV records check.
Davies was arrested and transported to the Suwannee County Jail on the stated charges.
On Sunday, 8/16/15, Ronald Mack Robinson, 40, of Branford was arrested and charged with Batter - Domestic Violence.
During the investigation of a reported disturbance deputies made contact with both parties. The victim reported the defendant threw her over some bushes during the course of an altercation.
Robinson was arrested and transported to the Suwannee County Jail on the stated charges.
On Tuesday, 8/18/15, Clara Ann Stratton, 44, of Live Oak was arrested and charged with Battery Domestic Violence and Resist Officer w/o Violence.
Deputies responded to a residence in reference to a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival they made contact with both parties. The victim stated Stratton struck him on the head and neck several times. The defendant packed the victim's belongings and took her to a family member. Once they arrived several witnesses advised Stratton again hit the victim several times on the back of the head. Deputies observed a scratch on the his neck consistent with reports of being hit. The defendant was advised to place her place her hands behind her back to be detained. Stratton continued pulling away and turning away in attempts to resist being handcuffed. She was told several times to stop resisting and comply to no avail.
Stratton was arrested and transported to the Suwannee County Jail on the stated charges.
On Friday, 8/21/15, Lee Edward Spees, III, of Perry was arrested and charged with Battery, Criminal Mischief and Resisting Officer w/o Violence.
Deputies responded to a Wellborn business if reference to a disturbance. The victim reported Spees was dropped off at the business by an unknown person. The defendant attempted to get in a vehicle of another patron and was pushed away and fell to the ground. Spees then ran through the parking lot towards the clerk who entered the business trying to lock the defendant out. Spees then began pulling on the door forcefully, damaging the door pulling it off the hinges. He then went in to the business and punched the clerk in the face. The clerk fled, exiting the business and he pursued him into the parking lot and punched him in the face. LEO arrived and Spees fled before being apprehended.
Spees was arrested and transported to the Suwannee County Jail on the stated charges.
On Monday, 8/24/15, Stephen D Cherry, 27, of Live Oak was arrested and charged with DWLS/R and Resist w/o Violence, and Alphonso Deshawn Harrison, 23, of Lake City was arrested and charged with Possession of Open Alcohol Container and Resist w/o Violence.
During a routine traffic stop due to the vehicle driving erratic and running off the roadway, contact was made with the driver and passenger. During the investigation it was discovered that the driver and passenger identified themselves as the other so Cherry would not be arrested for DWLS/R. IN addition, during the investigation it was observed Harrison had an open container of beer at his feet. The beer was cold and had condensation on the can, as well as the defendant smelled strongly of alcohol. A DHSMV records check confirmed Cherry did have a suspended license.
Cherry and Harrison were arrested and transported to the Suwannee County Jail on the stated charges.
