On January 17, 2012, Lauri Williams Pittman, 31 of Live Oak, Fl was arrested and charged with Grand Theft, Burglary of an Unoccupied Structure and Possession of a Controlled Substance after she went into an occupied residence and took items that did not belong to her.  Pittman was observed through the window and was ordered out of the residence.  A search warrant was obtained for Pittman's Residence where several assorted tools and an air compressor was found.

 

Pittman was transported to the Suwanee County Jail.

On January 19, 2012, Alma Elizabeth Westberry, 40 of Live Oak, Fl was arrested and charged with Disorderly Intoxication after a witness stated that as she pulled up to her driveway and started to get out of her vehicle to unlock the gate Westberry came up to her car.  Witness stated that Westberry began to beat on the window of her car and that she appeared to be very intoxicated and began to yell at her to let her use a telephone.  Upon speaking to Westberry she appeared to be very intoxicated and belligerent towards me.  Westberry kept saying that I was making a big mistake.

 

Westberry was transported to the Suwannee County Jail.

On January 20, 2012, Brandy N. Freeman, 27 of Live Oak, Fl was arrested and charged with Retail Theft and Conspiracy to Commit Fraud after she concealed items in her purse without paying for them.  Freeman attempted to commit a fraudulant act against WalMart by having her Aunt wait in the parking lot for her to return the stolen items.

 

Freeman was transported to the Suwannee County Jail.

On January 20, 2012, Melissa Simmons, 42 of Live Oak, Fl was arrested and charged with Conspiracy to Commit Fraud after she and her neice had a discussion prior to their arrival at WalMart that her niece would obtain items from WalMart without paying while Simmons waited in the parking lot for her niece to return those items.

 

Simmons was tansported to the Suwannee County Jail.

On January 21, 2012, David Ervin Rogers, 18 of Wellborn, Fl was arrested and charged with Domestic Battery w/Strangulation after he became involved in a domestic physical altercation.

 

Rogers was transported to the Suwannee County Jail.

On January 22, 2012, Armando Alvarado, 27 of Live Oak, Fl was arrested and charged with No Driver's License after contact was made during a traffic stop.  Alvarado stated that he did not have a driver's license.

 

Alvarado was transported to the Suwannee County Jail.

On January 21, 2012, Vincent Hampton Hart, 19 of Live Oak, Fl was arrested and charged with Retail Theft and Disorderly Conduct after he obtained a case of Bud Light Beer and exited WalMart wihtout paying for it on one night and came back to do the same thing the next night.  Video surveillance confirmed Hart did infact exit WalMart without paying for the beer.  Once Hart was informed he was being placed under arrest he began yelling profanities in the parking lot.

 

Hart was transported to the Suwannee County Jail.

On January 18, 2012, Richard Lee Jackson, 29 of Branford, Fl was arrested and charged with Burglary, Grand Theft, Dealing in Stolen Property and Criminal Mischief after he tore down a fence causing $300 in damages and then drove over the fence inside private property causing $300 more damage to a furnace.  Jackson also stole various plow heads, parts to farm implements and various other metal products and sold at a salvage yard.  Jackson returned 4 times and stole more metal products each time, selling it at salvage yards.

 

Jackson was transported to the Suwannee County Jail.

On January 18, 2012, William Howard Hunt, 23 of Branford, Fl was arrested and charged with Burglary, Grand Theft, Dealing in Stolen Property and Criminal Mischief after he tore down a fence causing $300 in damages and then drove over the fence into private property causing $300 more damage to a furnace.  Hunt also stole various plowheads, parts to farm implements and various other metal products and sold at a salvage yard.  Hunt returned 4 times taking more metal products each trip and selling it at a salvage yard.

 

Hunt was transported to the Suwannee County Jail.

On January 24, 2012, Crystal Lynn Frick, 33 of Live Oak, Fl was arrested and charged with Violation of Injunction and Witness Tampering after she violated an injunction by calling the victim while she was in jail.

 

Frick was booked in on these charges at the Suwannee Co Jail.

On January 26, 2012, Joseph Leon Williams, 55 of Perry, Fl was arrested and charged with Armed Robbery and Aggravated Fleeing and Attempting to Elude after he went into Capital City Bank and provided a hand written note to the teller that stated ""This is a stick up, put all the money in a bag, I have a gun, no dye packs, tracking devices or I will shoot you"".  Williams fled the bank in a black pickup at a high rate of speed that went approximately 20 miles before he was stopped.  Williams was returned to the bank and was identified as the person who robbed the bank.

 

Williams was transported to the Suwannee County Jail.

On January 30, 2012, Barney Duane Hingson, 66 of McAlpin, Fl was arrested and charged with Violation of Injunction for Protection after contact was made with Hingson he stated that he knew he was not suppose to contact the victim but he did anyway.

 

Hingson was transported to the Suwannee County Jail.

On Ferbruary 1, 2012, Matthew Justin Whitt, 26 of Knoxville, TN was arrested and charged with Possession of Controlled Substance Without a Prescription and Tampering With Evidence after receiving calls about a suspicious person hanging out by the fuel pumps for several hours.  When contact was made with Whitt his speech was slurred and his eyes were glassy, he said that he was just scratching off lotto tickets.  When Whitt walked over to his car to get his driver's license he was observed putting a pill into his mouth.  When asked what had he just put in his mouth, he said a wintermint.  Whitt was asked was it in fact some type of prescription drug and he said yes. Whitt was arrested and his vehicle was searched and 4 valium, 2 oxycodone and 2 oxycontin was found inside the vehicle.

Whitt was transported to the Suwannee County Jail.
