On 4/15/16, Jimmy J Beeman, 46, and Wendell Scott Jarvis, 58, both of Wellborn were arrested and charged with Burglary.
During the investigation of a burglary the defendants were found in possession of know stolen items. Witnesses stated Jarvis and Beeman were seen removing the stolen items from a rental property where forcible entry was made to obtain the property. Both defendants admitted they knew the property was stolen and planned to use it for their own benefit.
Beeman and Jarvis were arrested and transported to the Suwannee County Jail on the stated charges.
On 4/14/16 Kyle Austin Kelly Denis, 24, of Marietta, GA was arrested and charged with Possession of MDMA.
During an event at a local venue, security observed an individual throw a bag over the fence and the defendant try and recover it. When asked the defendant was unsure of the owner and provided several names however when the bag was searched the defendants ID was located as well as a crystal substance. The defendant admitted the bag was his and advised the substance was ""Molly"".
Denis was arrested and transported to the Suwannee County Jail on the stated charges.
On 4/16/16, Humberto Nunez-Ocampo, 36, of Lake City was arrested and charged with Battery - Domestic Violence.
During the investigation of a reported altercation deputies made contact with both parties. The victim reported the defendant struck her, pulled her by the hair and shoved her during the altercation. She further stated he was asked to leave several times prior to the altercation due to being intoxicated and verbally abusive.
Nunez-Ocampo was arrested and transported to the Suwannee County Jail on the stated charges.
On 4/16/16, Jefferey Monroe Nash, 35, was arrested and charged with Possession of Cannabis -20grams, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Butane Hash Oil and Battery on LEO.
During a local festival deputies observed the defendant staggering and falling down. When they assisted him a baggie containing cannabis was observed. A search of his person revealed rolling papers and a container of hash oil. The defendant became belligerent and violent throwing punches and hitting one deputy. He was placed in custody.
Nash was arrested and transported to the Suwannee County Jail on the stated charges.
On 4/16/16, Autumn Ann Allen, 23, of Live Oak was arrested and charged with Possession of -20grams of Cannabis and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
During a routine traffic stop in which the defendant was a passenger in the vehicle, the reporting deputy observed the strong smell of marijuana emanating from the vehicle. When asked the driver freely admitting to possessing several burnt marijuana cigarettes in the ashtray and gave permission to retrieve them. The defendant also freely admitted to possessing several illegal items and disclosed a baggie containing burnt synthetic marijuana and a glass pipe. After further investigation the defendant freely retrieved a baggie of marijuana and a container with synthetic marijuana cigarettes.
Allen was arrested and transported to the Suwannee County Jail on the stated charges.
On 4/17/16, Kelli Joy Eagle, 34, of Lake City was arrested and charged with DUI, Possession of -20grams of Cannabis and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
During a routine traffic stop a witness indicated the vehicle had possibly been involved in a traffic crash that had recent occurred. Contact was made with the driver identified as Eagle. When she exited the vehicle she was staggering and unsteady. She refused all field sobriety tests and freely admitted to drinking several alcohol beverages prior to the traffic stop. She was placed in custody and at that time stated she had cannabis in the vehicle. As search of the vehicle yielded the cannabis and a glass smoking pipe.
Eagle was arrested and transported the Suwannee County Jail on the stated charges.
On 4/17/16, Leo D Brady, 39, and Vera L Wiggins, 31, both of Lake City were arrested and charged with Grand Theft Motor Vehicle and Possession -20grams Marijuana. Wiggins was additionally charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
During the investigation of an unrelated traffic crash deputies observed a suspicious vehicle in close proximity to the incident. They observed the vehicle attempt to leave the area when LEO was observed. A DHSMV records check of the tag indicated the vehicle was stolen from Jefferson County. Deputies conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and identified Brady as the driver and Wiggins as the passenger. Both were placed in custody. A search of the vehicle yielded a green leafy substance wrapped in smoking papers, a glass pipe and two scales commonly known for weighing multiple types of drugs. During the interview prior to transport Wiggins advised she had another glass pipe on her person.
Brady and Wiggins were arrested and transported to the Suwannee County Jail on the stated charges.
On 4/18/16, Armando Castells, 38, of Lake City was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault (Domestic) and Battery Domestic.
During the investigation of a domestic incident deputies made contact with all parties. The report states the defendant and victim were involved in a verbal altercation when it became physical. At some point the defendant made a threatening gesture towards the victim and swung a machete in the vicinity of the victim. In addition the defendant intentionally grabbed the victim by the neck. A witness substantiated the victims report.
Castells was arrested and transported to the Suwannee County Jail on the stated charges.
On 4/19/16, Anthony Joseph White, 39 and Jonathan William Shipes, 35, both of Panama City were arrested. White was charged with Retail Theft and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. An Shipes was charged with numerous drug charges as well as Possession of Burglary Tools and a Bay County Drug Charge warrant.
During the investigation of a shoplifting incident contact was made with the defendant, White. He was found in possession of merchandise from a local retail store valued at $35.76. A backpack containing syringes, rolling papers and plastic bottles containing clean urine used to obtain methadone pills was also located in his possession. White was apprehended when he was attempting to enter a vehicle occupied by another person later identified as Shipes. A further investigation confirmed Shipes had active warrants from Bay County. A search of the Shipes belongings and vehicle yields numerous controlled substances, Methamphetamine, Marijuana and burglary tools in addition to the warrant.
White and Shipes were arrested and transported to the Suwannee County Jail on the stated charges.
On 4/19/16, Robert Jonathan Scott, 24, of Lake City was arrested and charged with Possession of Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Cultivation of Cannabis.
During an attempt to locate a wanted person request from another agency deputies responded to a residence. The homeowner indicated Scott was located in the residence and permission was given to search for him. The defendant was located hiding under a bed. Located next to him was a syringe and several small bags containing other syringes. In addition several broken pills identified as Adavan were located and the defendant stated he did not have a prescription. Other paraphernalia as well as several marijuana plants were located.
Scott was arrested and transported to the Suwannee County Jail on the stated charges.
On 4/22/16, Juan Requesens Ortiz, 46, of Hialeah was arrested and charged with DUI.
While working a traffic detail due to a traffic crash D/S Henry attempted to stop a vehicle to allow other traffic thru when the vehicle did not stop and continued to accelerate. The deputy had to jump out of the way to avoid being hit by the vehicle. The vehicle then skidded to a stop. The deputy made contact with the driver identified as Ortiz who was observed confused and disoriented. The strong odor of alcohol was observed and the defendant could not walk unassisted. The defendant could not successfully pass field sobriety tests and the breath test yield alcohol levels 3 times the legal limits.
Ortiz was arrested and transported to the Suwannee County Jail on the stated charges.
On 4/23/16, Michael Oneal Wachob, 27, of Live Oak was arrested and charged with Aggravated Battery.
During the investigation of a reported battery deputies made contact with the victim who reported during a verbal argument, Wachob threw a mason jar at the victim hitting her causing a laceration. Contact was made later with the defendant and he was placed in custody.
Wachob was arrested and transported to the Suwannee County Jail on the stated charges.
