On Sunday, July 13, 2014 Allen Camejo, 34, of Live Oak was arrested and charged with Battery and Criminal Mischief.
D/S Kastor responded to a residence in reference to an altercation. Upon arrival he made contact with the victim and homeowner. They advised Camejo was a guest at the residence and became involved in an argument with the victim which turned physical. Camejo struck the victim in the face and grabbed her wrists and held her by the throat. The homeowner intervened instructing Camejo to leave. When he exited the door the victim and homeowner locked the door behind him, at which time Camejo attempted to force his way in to the door causing damage and a portion of the door to break.
Camejo fled prior to LEO arriving and was located a short distance away. He was arrested and transported to the Suwannee County Jail on the stated charges.
On Monday, July 14 2014 Rufino Hernandez-Almaraz, 24, of Live Oak was arrested and charged with No Valid DL.
While on routine patrol Hernandez-Almaraz was observed weaving from side to side and crossing the centerline while driving. A traffic stop was conducted and Hernandez-Almaraz advised he did not have a valid license and produced an Mexican ID card only.
Hernandez-Almaraz was arrested and transported to the Suwannee County Jail on the stated charges.
On Saturday, July 12, 2014 Mynor Gonzalez Carias, 32, of Branford was arrested and charged with No Driver's License, Operation of Unregistered Vehicle and Attached Tag not Assigned to Vehicle.
During a routine traffic stop D/S Z Clark made contact with Gonzalez Carias who advised he did not have a driver's license. This was confirmed thru a DHSMV records check. Upon further investigation, the tag attached to the vehicle being operated was reported lost/stolen from Alachua County and the vehicle itself did not according to DHSMV records have a current registration.
Gonzalez Carias was arrested and transported to the Suwannee County Jail on the stated charges.
On Monday, July 14, 2014 Steven Allen Stacy, 22 of Branford was arrested and charged with Attempted Burglary, Loitering and Prowling and Possession of -20 grams. Daniel Thomas Whitslar, 32 also of Branford was also arrested and charged with Attempted Burglary and Loitering and Prowling.
During a routine patrol D/S W. Kelly observed the defendants concealing themselves in the shadows near the wall of a closed business and mini-storage. Contact was made with both the parties who were identified as Stacy and Whitslar. During the interview both parties freely admitted to planning to enter the closed business with the intent to taking items from the business. Upon further investigation and consented search of the suspects vehicle cannabis and a cannabis pipe were located .
Both Stacy and Whitslar were arrested and transported to the Suwannee County Jail on the stated charges.
On Friday, July 18, 2014 Ronald Dale Smith, 43, of Jacksonville was arrested and charged with Possession of Oxycodone, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Reckless Driving - Willful and Wanton.
In response to reports of a vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed and cutting in and out of traffic, Cpl. Barrs observed a vehicle matching the description and partial tag given my multiple callers. He observed the vehicle travelling off the roadway on numerous occasions. A traffic stop was conducted and contact was made with Smith the driver of the vehicle. Consent was given to search Smith's vehicle where white powdered and straw were located on the driver's seat, a blue pill was also located. The pill was identified as oxycodone.
Smith was arrested and transported to the Suwannee County Jail on the stated charges.
On Friday, July 18, 2014, Dustin William Adams, 19, of McAlpin, was arrested and charged with Reckless Driving.
During a routine patrol D/S J. Brooks observed a vehicle exceeding the posted 45mph and travelling over the centerline. A traffic stop was attempted with the driver of the vehicle accelerating and travelling at extreme speed on unpaved/ungraded roads almost losing control nearly missing trees and mailboxes. When the traffic stop was conducted contact was made with Adams who was arrested without incident.
He was transported to the Suwannee County Jail on the stated charges and cautioned regarding the felony statute for Fleeing and Eluding Law Enforcement.
On Monday, July 21, 2014 Juan Manuel Cabrera-Hernandez, 34, of Live Oak, was arrested and charged with DWLS Knowingly.
During a traffic stop for excessive speed Carbrera-Hernandez advised he did not have a valid driver's license.
Carbrera-Hernandez was arrested and transported to the Suwannee County Jail on the stated charges.
On Monday, July 21, 2014 John Jody Gillespie, 18, and Jose Roberto Vazquez, 19 both of Largo were arrested and charged with Grand Theft.
In response to a reported reckless driver and possible traffic crash D/S Marsh and Sgt. Greene located a vehicle matching the description and tag attached to a bumper found on the ground in the area. During the investigation it was determined the vehicle occupied by Gillespie was stolen out of Pinellas Park, FL. A juvenile missing person from Lafayette County was recovered as an occupant in the stolen vehicle. Additional information was received regarding to an another vehicle that was stolen from the same jurisdiction. Both stolen vehicles were recovered and impounded and Pinellas Park notified.
Gillespie and Vazquez were arrested and transported to the Suwannee County Jail.
On Tuesday, July 22, 2014, Paul Joseph Gibson III, 27 of Live Oak was arrested and charged with Possession of Controlled Substance (Tramadol), Possession of Controlled Substance with intent to Sell, and DWLS/R - Knowingly.
During an investigation and patrol on a possible unrelated case D/S Kastor observed the defendant enter a secluded driveway to a closed business. D/S Kastor had prior knowledge of subject and was aware he had a suspended DL. After making contact with Gibson he freely admitted knowing his license was suspended. During the subsequent investigation Gibson advised he had pills in his pocket which were identified as Tramadol in an unmarked prescription bottle. He further indicated the vehicle he was driving was giving to him in exchange for selling drugs to deliver to buyers. Contact was made with the registered owner who denied the allegations.
Gibson was arrested and transported to the Suwannee County Jail on the stated charges.
