15-14826 On Monday, 5/11/15, Jonathan Anthony Borrell, 18, of Live Oak, was arrested and charged with Battery.

Deputies responded to the Ramblin' Rose Tavern in reference to an altercation. They made contact with the parties involved. The report indicates Borrell and another individual were involved in a physical altercation with the victim and owner of the business. 

Borrell was arrested and transported to the Suwannee County Jail on the stated charges.




15-14485 On Wednesday 5/6/16, Carl West, 45, of Branford was arrested and charged with Grand Theft.

During a theft investigation it was established that West entered a local business in Branford and left the premises with a portable generator valued at $425.00 depriving the business of their property. 

West was arrested and transported to the Suwannee County Jail on the stated charges.





15-14891 On Sunday, 5/10/15, Yunier Royero, 28, of Live Oak was arrested and charged with Resisting Arrest without Violence.

During the attempted service of an outstanding warrant on Royero he fled on foot. He was subsequently apprehended after a 3 hour search and K9 tracking at the Madison county line.

Royero was arrested and transported to the Suwannee County Jail on the stated charges as well as the outstanding warrant for unlawful sexual activity with person under 18 years of age.


15-14530 On Friday, 5/8/15, Michael Chad Collier, 24, of O'Brien was arrested and charged with Robbery with a Weapon.

In response to a reported robbery, deputies made contact with the clerk at a Branford Convenient Store. The witness reported the subject later identified as Collier entered the store, produced a knife, jumped the counter and took an undisclosed amount of cash. Video footage positively identified Collier as the suspected perpetrator, as well as the witness identified him thru photo lineup. Contact was made with a family member of Collier's who indicated he was willing to speak to LEO.

Collier was arrested and transported to the Suwannee County Jail on the stated charges.



15-15156 & 15-15299 On Wednesday, 5/13/15, Johnny Elwood Mimm, 52, of Live Oak was arrested and charged with Violation of Injunction.

During the investigation of a reported violation of an injunction, LEO made contact with Mimm. He was advised that there was an active injunction against him and that he was to leave the property he was on and if he returned he would be arrested. Mimm left and returned to the location later in the evening, at that point he was arrested.

Mimm was arrested and transported to the Suwannee County Jail on the stated charges.

On Thursday, 5/14/15, Johnny Elwood Mimm, 52, of Live Oak was arrested and again charged with Violation of Injunction.

After Mimm's release from the Suwannee County Jail the victim of the previous incident requested LEO in reference to Mimm returning to the location again violating the injunction. Upon arrival he made contact with Mimm who freely admitted to leaving the jail and walking to the residence in hopes the victim would allow him to live there. He was again advised that he was in violation of the injunction. 

Mimm was arrested and transported to the Suwannee County Jail on the stated charges.


15-15670 On Sunday, 5/17/15, Samantha Bailey Wentworth, 34, of Ft. White was arrested and charged with Battery / Domestic Violence.

During the investigation of a domestic disturbance deputies made contact with the involved parties. The victim stated during a verbal argument, Wentworth struck the victim causing minor lacerations and bleeding. 

Wentworth was arrested and transported to the Suwannee County Jail on the stated charges.




15-15700 On Sunday, 5/17/15, Brian Bernard Andrews, 26, of Jacksonville was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault w/ a Deadly Weapon (Domestic Violence) and Carrying a Concealed Weapon.

During the investigation of a reported incident, deputies made contact with the victim. The victim and witnesses reported that Andrews and the victim were involved in a heated argument while driving back to Jacksonville. During the incident the victim called a family member and indicated that she was afraid one of them would not make it back. It was further reported that at that point Andrews affirmed the statement and the victim stated he had a handgun in a close area of access. Consent was given to search the vehicle and a loaded Mac-10 firearm was located within easy access of the driver. It was further confirmed Andrews did not possess a concealed weapons permit.

Andrews was arrested and transported to the Suwannee County Jail on the stated charges.
