On Thursday, August 14, 2014 Jannie Mae Cherry, 52 od Live Oak was arrested and charged with Retail Theft.
D/S Kastor responded to Wal-Mart in reference to a Theft. It was reported the suspect, Cherry began to cause a disturbance due to the prolonged period of time to service her vehicle with tires. In an effort to satisfy the defendant the store employee loaded the tires into her vehicle when Cherry entered her vehicle and drove away without making any effort to pay for the merchandise. The store employee made attempts to stop the defendant, however, she ignored the request and left the scene.
Contact was made with Cherry who freely admitted to stealing the tires because she had a bad day.
14-36184 -On this same date Cpl. T Roberts made contact with Cherry who advised she was attempting to have money wired for payment when she became uncooperative. She continued to refuse to cooperate by walking away, pulling away when handcuffed. She kicked at the deputy repeatedly and continued to kick and beat the windows in the patrol car on the way to the jail.(14-36184) She was placed in custody and transported to the Suwannee County Jail on the stated charges and additionally charged with Battery on LEO and Resisting Officer with Violence.
On Saturday, August 16, 2014 William Travis Stalvey, 31, of Wellborn was arrested and charged with Battery (Domestic).
During a verbal argument the defendant became physical grabbing the victim by the arm, picking her up slamming her down on an appliance. He further grabbed her to by the hair and pushed her head into the wall. The victim had evident red marks supporting the her statement.
Stalvey was arrested and transported to the Suwannee County Jail on the stated charges.
On Wednesday August 13, 2014, Jeffrey Glenn Miller, 43, of O''Brien was arrested and charged with Forgery and Uttering a Forgery.
During an investigation reporting falsely altered/forged checks, contact was made with Miller who admitted to taking the checks without permission and filling the checks payable to himself and cashing them at a local business, therefore obtaining approximately $300.00 he was not entitled to.
Miller was arrested and transported to they Suwannee County Jail on the stated charges.
On Friday August 15, 2014, Matthew Kukulski, 27, and Ryan Forrest Dale Murphy, 24 both of O''Brien was arrested and charged with Grand Theft and Dealing in Stolen Property.
During the investigation of a reported stolen golf cart, D/S Woloszyn made contact with Kukulski who reportedly entered the victims yard and took the golf cart without permission. He and the co-defendant rode the vehicle until it broke down and hid it in the woods to conceal it. He along with co-defendant Murphy painted the golf cart and removed parts to prevent identification. In addition, they sold the golf cart to another individual. Murphy admitted the account after being mirandized, Kukulski declined further comment.
Both parties were arrested and transported to the Suwannee County Jail on stated charges.
On Wednesday August 20, 2014, Christopher Alan Branham, 34, of Live Oak was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault - Domestic Violence, Aggravated Battery on a Pregnant Person (Domestic Violence) and Possession of Firearm by a Convicted Felon.
An investigation of an incident in which Branham threatened the victim who was pregnant with a .22 caliber revolver, then intentionally struck the victim further pushing the victim to the ground. Branham, a convicted felon was knowingly in possession of the gun as reported by a witness. The victim was transported to the hospital via EMS for evaluation.
Branham was arrested and transported to the Suwannee County Jail on the stated charges.
On Saturday August 23, 2014, Carballo Crespo Francisco, 37, of Branford was arrested and charged with No Valid DL.
While on routine patrol D/S S Thakor conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle operated by Francisco. He made contact with Francisco who stated he did not have a driver's license and a DHSMV records check confirmed he did not have a DL issued to him.
Francisco was arrested and transported to the Suwannee County Jail on the stated charges.
On Friday, August 22, 2014 William Joe Meredith of Live Oak was arrested and charged with Grand Theft.
During a reported theft of a cell phone investigation, D/S Kelly made contact with the victim who advised she left her cell phone on the counter of a local business. Contact was made with the business owner who reviewed surveillance which clearly showed a male subject identified as Meredith removing the cell phone from the counter and concealing it in his pocket. D/S Kelly made contact with Meredith who freely stated he took the cell phone and advised he disposed of it on the side of the road after a verbal dispute with another party regarding the phone.
Meredith was arrested and transported to the Suwannee County Jail on the stated charges.
On Friday August 22, 2014 Zachery Geynold Cayo, 20, of Live Oak was arrested and charged with Burglary of Occupied Structure, Flee and Elude LEO, Resisting Arrested without Violence and No Valid DL.
During an attempted traffic stop on a vehicle for high rate of speed travelling in the wrong lane of traffic, D/S Kelly pursued the vehicle operated by an individual identified as Cayo. Cayo failed to stop for D/S Kelly who had activated his emergency lights to conduct a traffic stop. Cayo continued travel at a high rate of speed making several evasive turns failing to stop or yield in residential areas. He eventually pulled in the driveway of a residence, exited the vehicle and fled into the residence. Contact was made with the homeowners who stated they knew the subject as Cayo and he entered the residence uninvited or welcomed and he was hiding in a bedroom.
Cayo was located in the residence, arrested and transported to the Suwannee County Jail on the stated charges.
On Sunday August 24, 2014, Holly Ann Green, 30, of Live Oak was arrested and charged with Grand Theft, Forgery and Petit Theft.
During the course of an investigation for fraud D/S Kastor received a report that Green knowingly took the victims debit card and without permission used the card for personal purchases, signing for the purchases claiming to be the owner of the card charging a total of $438.24 to the victims account. Upon making contact with Green she freely admitted committing the stated offenses.
Green was placed in custody and transported to the Suwannee County Jail on the stated charges.
