On Sunday November 24, 2014, Jose Gregorio Neria Angueles, 20, of Live Oak was arrested and charged with Battery (Domestic Violence).
During the investigation of a reported battery contact was made with the victim who advised during a verbal argument Angueles grabbed her by the hair and threw her on the bed.
Angueles was arrested and transported to the Suwannee County Jail on the stated charges.
On Thursday November 27, 2014, Ryan Forrest Dale Murphy, 25, of Branford was arrested and charged with Grand Theft Auto and Criminal Mischief.
During the investigation of a reported vehicle theft and subsequent traffic crash it was determined that Murphy removed a vehicle from the property of the owner of the vehicle. As a result of removal of the vehicle Murphy hit a closed gate to the property with the vehicle in order to leave the property causing damage to the gate and the vehicle. He was later found in the vehicle which had been involved in a traffic crash.
Murphy was arrested and transported to the Suwannee County Jail on the stated charges.
On Saturday November 29, 2014, Danielle Lynne Sanders, 25 of Live Oak was arrested and charged with Possession o f-20grams of marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and False Reports of Crimes.
During the investigation of reported stolen prescription medication contact was made with Sanders. The defendant gave free consent to search the area where the medication was last seen to verify if was in fact gone. During the search -20grams of Marijuana was located along with a straw used for snorting pills and in addition the reported stolen medication. Sanders admitted to using and selling the remainder of the prescription.
Sanders was arrested and transported to the Suwannee County Jail.
On Monday December 8, 2014, Curtis Lee Courtney, 24, of Live Oak was arrested and charged with Reckless Driving, Aggravated Battery on LEO, Fleeing/Attempting to Elude, DWLS/R 3rd Offense and DUI 3rd Offense.
While on routine patrol D/S K Osborn observed a vehicle crossing the yellow centerline almost causing a head on collision. After pulling behind the vehicle activating lights the driver of the stated vehicle put his car in reverse backing into D/S Osborn. The driver of the vehicle further fled the parking lot heading through a residential area, driving thru a yard and headed back towards the parking lot where the initial incident occurred before being blocked in by another LEO officer. Upon making contact with the driver, he was identified as Courtney. Courtney was unable to stand on his own and had the strong smell of alcohol on his person. During this investigation FHP was working a traffic crash involving the same vehicle at a nearby location. Courtney was additionally charged by FHP for Leaving the Scene of a Crash, DWLS/R 2nd Offense and DUI 2nd Offense.
Courtney was arrested and transported to the Suwannee County Jail.
On Tuesday December 9, 2014, Alexander Estrada, 27, of Jennings was arrested and charged with Theft.
During the investigation of a reported theft D/S Descarreaux made contact with Loss Prevention at Wal-Mart. It was determined Estrada placed a TV valued at $168.00 in a shopping cart and exited the store making no effort to pay for the item.
Estrada was arrested and transported to the Suwannee County Jail on the stated charges.
On Tuesday December 9, 2014, Wayne Anthony Martin, 21, of Live Oak and a juvenile were arrested and charged with Burglary of a Conveyance and Grand Theft Auto.
During the investigation of a reported stolen vehicle, deputies received a report of a suspicious vehicle at another location. While en route to the location Investigators located Martin and the juvenile walking down the road. Both suspects admitted to breaking into the vehicle, stealing it and taking the motorcycle off the back and trying to get away on the motorcycle.
Martin and the juvenile were arrested and transported to the Suwannee County Jail.
On Thursday December 11, 2014, James Lee Harvin, 46, of Lake City was arrested and charged with Shoplifting and having an open warrant.
Responding to a report of a shoplifter at Wal-Mart Cpl. Senea made contact with Loss Prevention who stated Harvin was identified as passing all points of sale with $294.12 of merchandise. He was apprehended at the BP station near Wal-Mart.
Harvin was arrested and transported to the Suwannee County Jail on the stated charges.
