On Saturday, November 8, 2014, Phillip Christopher Weeks, 35, of Live Oak was arrested and charged with Petit Theft and Possession of a Controlled Substance.

During the investigation of the theft of medication and money Weeks was interviewed and freely admitted to taking the medication from the victims home.

Weeks was arrested and transported to the Suwannee County Jail on the stated charges.

On Friday, November 7, 2014, Christopher Douglas McCray, 18, of Jacksonville, was arrested and charged with Grand Theft.

During the investigation of a reported theft, D/S Harris responded to Wal-Mart. Security staff established McCray entered the store, obtained items and exited the store without paying for items. The total value of items taken was $303.32.

McCray was arrested and transported to the Suwannee County Jail on the stated charges.

On Tuesday, November 11, 2014, Vicente Martin-Martin, 41, of Live Oak was arrested and charged with No Valid DL and Possession of Open Alcohol Container.

During a routine traffic stop for failing to drive within a single lane and failing to use designated lane. Contact was made with the driver identified as Martin-Martin. The vehicle had several passengers including several small children. The driver was observed to have the strong odor of alcohol emitting from his person. Martin-Martin was asked to exit the vehicle when he did so it was noted that he had an open container of beer between the front seats. No record was found when a driver''s license search was conducted.

Martin-Martin was arrested and transported to the Suwannee County Jail on the stated charges.

On Tuesday, November 11, 2014, Walter Mejio-Cote, 30, of Immokalee was arrested and charged with Indecent Exposure, Disorderly Intoxication and Criminal Mischief.

D/S Landis responded to Wal-Mart in reference to an intoxicated person. Upon arrival he made contact with security who advised Mejio-Cote was observed walking down the isle, unzipping his pants, exposing his genitals to a female customer and her children, then urinating on cases of water. Mejio-Cote was apprehended attempting to leave the store parking lot.

Mejio-Cote was arrested and transported to the Suwannee County Jail on the stated charges.

On Wednesday, November 12, 2014, William Jeffrey Pope, 38, of Lake City was arrested and charged with Battery - Domestic Violence.

During the investigation of a reported physical altercation, D/S Brooks made contact with the victim who advised she had been involved in a physical altercation with Pope. It was reported that during the altercation Pope hit her in the face, grabbed her by the neck and shoved her down. Injuries consistent with the report were visible on the victim.

Pope was arrested and transported to the Suwannee County Jail on the stated charges.

On Thursday, November 13, 2014, Kurt Anthony Hughes, 27, of Live Oak was arrested and charged with Aggravated Cyberstalking.

During an ongoing investigation, Cpl. Kelly investigated a report involving Hughes engaging in electronic communication with a minor victim. The report indicated the content and actions were unwanted and had no legitimate purpose causing the victim  substantial emotion distress and fear of immanent danger.

Hughes was arrested and transported to the Suwannee County Jail on the stated charges.

On Thursday, November 13, 2014, Joe Henry Bracewell, 42, of Live Oak was arrested and charged with Disorderly Intoxication.

After responding to a residence in reference to a disturbance, Cpl Senea made contact with the parties involved. It was observed that Bracewell was severely intoxicated and verbally abusive. he was given a warning to go to bed. Several hours later another disturbance was reported that Bracewell did not heed the warning and continued to drink and was verbally abusive.

Bracewell was arrested and transported to the Suwannee County Jail on the stated charges.

On Saturday, November 15, 2014, Korey Lee Hicks, 31, of Live Oak was arrested and charged with Battery - Domestic Violence and Battery by Strangulation - Domestic Violence.

During the investigation of a battery D/S Fleming made contact with the victim. The victim reported that during an argument Hicks attempted to strangle her because she would not comply with his requests. The victim indicated she was in fear for her life and attempted to defend herself by kicking Hicks striking him in the face. Hicks fled the residence prior to LEO arrival but was located in O'Brien at a residence.

Hick was arrested and transported to the Suwannee County Jail on the stated charges.

On Saturday, November 15, 2014, Jonah Christopher Terry, 20, of Petersburg, TN was arrested and charged with Trespass on Property after Warning.

During a special event at the Spirit of Suwannee Music Park Cpl. Kelly made contact with Terry who had been previously warned and trespassed from the event and property the prior evening.

Terry was arrested and transported to the Suwannee County Jail on the state charges.

On Sunday, November 16, 2014, Brenda Lee Sykes, 41, of Branford was arrested and charged with Battery - Domestic Violence.

During the investigation of a battery Cpl. Z Clark made contact with the victim who reported Sikes had pushed and slapped him several times during a verbal argument. The deputy observed a minor laceration to the victims arm he advised from being pushed down steps during the altercation. Sykes admitted to her physical actions involving the victim.

Sykes was arrested and transported to the Suwannee County Jail on the stated charges.

On Tuesday, November 18, 2014, Ashley Keith Robertson, 46, of Live Oak was arrested and charged with Domestic Battery by Strangulation.

During the investigation of a reported altercation D/S Wadford made contact with the victim who advised during a domestic altercation Robertson had tried to strangle her and threatened to kill her. The victim further stated he attempted to hold her head underwater, when she broke free he grabbed her by the throat strangling her to near unconsciousness. After the incident he threatened to kill her if she reported the incident. Robertson arranged to meet D/S Wadford to make his statement however had fled to location prior to LEO arrival. He was located and detained at another location.

Robertson was arrested and transported to the Suwannee County Jail on the state charges.
